Spectrum Concepts, Inc. invents unique products that bring new benefits to consumers and our OEM Furniture customers. The Spectrum Concepts name and our various trademarks are well established as the leading brand in our category. We maintain and protect this position with our dedication to only producing innovative products with patent worthy features and functions.
It may be important to note that most of our products are protected by one or more Utility Patents in addition to Design Patents. Utility Patents generally protect a unique way in which a product functions and are written to deliver protection in the broadest terms possible. The exact feature protected by a Utility Patent is typically not obvious and is intentionally designed to be difficult to evade even when another person makes dramatic changes or improvements to the look and shape. Only a patent attorney is qualified to determine if a certain product does or does not infringe on a patent.
Spectrum Concepts products may only be manufactured by, or by the order of, Spectrum Concepts, Inc., the owner of the patent rights. Goods manufactured by, or purchased from, any source other than Spectrum Concepts, Inc. or an authorized distributor thereof, should be considered illegally produced counterfeit copies, which may not be legally imported or sold in the countries where the products are patented. Remedies range from action by customs authorities to and possibly including the awarding of damages by a court of law.
